NELC Service Updates for the Bank Holiday

Monday 19 September – has been declared as a bank holiday for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral. A round up of service changes and other useful information from North East Lincolnshire Council and partners is below.

Council offices will close for the day. Normal Bank Holiday arrangements will apply for most services.

Bereavement services: will be operational only where families wish to continue with funerals of their own loved ones.

Waste collection: will be operational, but will be paused during the period of the state funeral (11am to 12 noon) as a mark of respect.

Grimsby and Immingham Community Recycling Centres will be open between 8am and 4pm. A minute’s silence will be held at 11am.

Homelessness support: normal bank holiday arrangements. Call 01472 326296 for emergencies.

Adult social care: normal arrangements. Contact the single point of access if required - 01472 256256

Libraries and leisure (Lincs Inspire): closed

Traffic and travel

Stagecoach: will be operating a Sunday service

Phone and Ride service: closed.
